The Skiffle Billy Cocktail (TSBC) bring out an album with a title that long Im run almost out of characters and that would be a shame cause this is going to be a very positive one ! Because musical,songtechnical,textical (?) and productional is great, magnificent I like to say here. Story telling skiffle with dashing sweeping rhythm .Singer/composer Rudy Vincents
does use his band perfect and the arrangements fit his storytelling singing
with this great voice. If his voice goes down you want to hear what he's telling. The backing vocals (The Sonic Smarties) do a wonderfull job especially in 'Memo From Me' they're not to be missed. The band knows what they're doing without doing to much.
The songs are tight and the style is various but always TSBC, great guitar parts always transparent . Its a marvellous journey from start to end !
No beers at the shows but a The Skiffle Billy Cocktail please !!!
